He jumped right in with both feet. Chris removed the uppers and cut the window to the formal living/dining (whichever) from the kitchen. Wow, it really opened up the kitchen and now we can see that great view out the front of the house. We removed all of the cabinet doors as well, one of which fell and killed the glass stove top. My bad.
We saw 3 pairs of red headed woodpeckers in the front yard (the creek side). They are pretty big, bigger than a blue jay. I also saw one tiny woodpecker with some red on his head but he is definitely a different kind. I'll have to get out that bird book.
